In flicker mode it really does look like a candle which is what I wanted (looks better in the dark but my phone doesn't do well there) and it is nice that it has a fully on mode as well in case you need steady light. They are not going to help you find the path in the dark, but they will give you nice mood lighting on summer nights and that I just what I wanted.

I own many different types of these flicker-flame type lights, and I can honestly say this one looks the most realistic. They are lightweight but feel like quality, and another bonus is that they can be charged by sunlight as well as by being plugged in to a USB-C type charger (cord included). The only slight gripe I have is that I wish they would have included a hook to hang them from a fence or something similar but for the money these are still worth it.

This is so beautiful that I keep charging them and finding a reason to carry them around. I have one on my kitchen window sill and one beside me now as I'm writing for peacefulness. It had to be charged when I received it but once my children got them to work for me I was happily using them everywhere and with the flame setting not the steady light. It looks so realistic that it calms me and relaxes me. I love it. Thank you for this awesome product.
